In line with the Alumni 2024 theme, “United family journeying together in spirit and truth,” on March 1, 2024, the Lukosi Primary School family, the BOM members, the H/Teacher of the school, and alumni visited the MCA’s office in Machewa Ward to discuss development plans with regards to ECD classrooms and the number of toilets for the pupils. In return, the MCA, Hon. Kisiang’ani Wambwa, gave the school a roll of barbed wire, which will initiate the development plan of the school to erect a fence.
Lukosi Primary School is far behind in terms of development. The school currently does not have a proper fence or gate, the classrooms are worn out, and the few toilets within the compound are unhygienic. The move by the school administration to visit the MCA’s office was to issue the plight of the pupils on the situation of the school and to attract the interest of the MCA’s office to revive the situation of the school. In that regard, Mr. Wambwa expressed his willingness to support and work with the school administration to create a better learning environment.
Lukosi Primary School administration takes this opportunity to thank the area MCA, Hon. Kisiang’ani Wambwa, for honoring our visit and supporting us with the roll of barbed wire. As we look forward to improving the situation of the school with more projects ahead, we look forward to your support again.
